Just waiting, and waiting, and waiting!
This is the week that Kimi and I have decided to take as our true recovery week. Our 2011 training year has been phenomenal up until this point. We are both on schedule to hit the highest yearly total either of us has ever reached. Our goal is to get to 2700 miles this year and currently we are just over 2400. Because of our increase in miles this year, we decided that it was time to take a week and let our bodies recover. Of course, for people like us, this 3 days of no running can feel like an eternity. Our plan is to begin running again on Thursday with an easy 3 miles. I am simply hoping that these few days of rest are enough to propel us forward into the winter season where we are planning on running some indoor track events!
